Spanish socialist Pedro Sánchez secures support for motion of no confidence in Spanish prime minister Mariano Rajoy.

Sánchez has been promised the support of the far-left Podemos, two Catalan pro-independence parties and the Basque Nationalist Party (PNV).

He will most probably become the new prime minister of Spain, the first one to be elected by removing another without election.
