IAESTE Malta has officially joined as members of the ‘A Bird’s Eye View’s Organisation Area’!

IAESTE stands for the ‘International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience’, and is an international, non-profit organisation whose main aim is to provide students with internships around the world. IAESTE was founded in 1948. Today, IAESTE has National Committees in over 80 countries. Each National Committee is responsible for the exchange programme in their own country.

IAESTE Malta, founded in 1984, is the Maltese branch of IAESTE and is a student-run organisation, housed under the University of Malta. We strive to provide students reading for degrees in STEM subjects and other areas with relevant and paid work experience abroad (including Science, Maths, Engineering, Data and Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy, Economics, and Marketing). Our internships aim to provide technical, first-hand experience to students, thus helping them further their studies and career.

IAESTE Malta organises internships abroad for local students as well as local internships for foreign students. Thus, IAESTE Malta is here to serve local students who want to take their career paths into their own hands and local companies looking to introduce motivated and hard-working interns to their organisation.
